Frequently Asked Questions
  • How often should I update my first aid knowledge?

You should aim to update your first aid qualifications every three years. This keeps your skills and knowledge current and ensures you can respond effectively in an emergency situation. It’s also important to complete a refresher course every 12 months.

  • Is first aid training available online?

We offer a pre-course booklet to assist you with the questions and practicals at training.

  • What type of first aid courses are available?

There are different types of first aid courses, depending on the level of certification you require. These include basic emergency response courses, advanced trauma care courses and more specialised training, such as paediatric first aid. All courses should provide you with the latest industry standards and protocols.

  • Is first aid training mandatory in Australia?

While there is no national legislation that requires everyone to undertake first aid training, it is highly recommended due to the growing number of incidences which require a quick response. Many workplaces also now make it compulsory for employees to hold a valid first aid certificate. It’s also important for parents and child caregivers to undertake first aid training in order to be prepared for any emergencies.
